Another service PAS provides to clients in the State of South Carolina is to serve as the
long term in-house contractor as defined by South Carolina DHEC regulations for industrial
manufacturing or electrical generating facilities. As the In-House Contractor, PAS supplies
properly trained and certified individuals to take care of on-going abatement (and possibly
re-insulation) needs. Waste generated as a result of these activities may be stored on-site
until a sufficient quantity has been accumulated to take to an approved landfill. The
advantage is your facility abatement needs can be met by individuals dedicated to your
facility but all workers compensation, general liability, payroll and regulatory
training/medical evaluation needs are met by PAS.
Similarly, PAS has entered into agreements with facilities which do not have need of an
In-House Contractor, but do have need of a reliable contractor over the long term who is
capable of responding immediately in the event of an emergency or various small projects.
In these cases, PAS can work with you to develop Time and Material pricing to lock in rates
and service.
